Position: Marketing Executive x 2
Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Based at: Central London – W1U 3PL
Salary: 19k – 24k per year

Fresh Montgomery is now recruiting for two newly created Marketing Executive roles:
1. Marketing Executive - Permanent:
The successful candidate will be supporting the marketing manager on 3 exciting shows for the food, hospitality and design sectors:
Speciality Fine Food Fair – www.specialityandfinefoodfairs.co.uk
ScotHot – www.scothot.co.uk
Surface Design Show – www.surfacedesignshow.com
2. Marketing Executive - Fixed Term Contract until March 2013:
The successful candidate will be project managing the Pro2Pac event www.pro2pac.co.uk and support the marketing manager on IFE – International Food & Drink Event www.ife.co.uk
The ideal candidates will have a proactive, flexible and positive attitude so that they can quickly develop a detailed understanding of each of the shows they will be working on. Experience of working in the exhibition industry would be desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating, implementing and monitoring all marketing communication activities to ensure deadlines are met, within budget and in-line with event marketing goals.
- Analysing, developing and sharing insights based on results of communication to feed into marketing activities.
- Managing the entire print process from brief formation to final distribution of selected print material.
- Updating your various social media channels.
- Managing content on event websites.
- Sourcing content for visitor communications from exhibitors, event partners and show features.
- Writing engaging copy that highlights the benefits of attending our events for both exhibitor and visitor audiences.
- Liaising with media partners and associations to coordinate mutually beneficial contra agreements and ensure confirmed agreements are implemented.
- Working closely with suppliers including design team, mailing houses, printers, PR team, visitor registration company on various projects.
- Maintaining and developing relationships with key suppliers and partners.
- Preparing data for use in marketing campaign which includes data segmentation, manipulation and validation of new data.
- Controlling costs against budget of each assigned task.
Candidate Requirements:
These positions each require an articulate, enthusiastic, hardworking team player, willing to share ideas and best practice

Permanent position - Minimum 1 year marketing experience in a B2B environment, preferably within exhibitions or media
- FTC position – Minimum 2 years marketing experience in an exhibitions marketing environment
- Hold a professional marketing qualification (CIM or marketing-related degree)
- Strong experience in online and offline direct marketing
- Able to work across several projects and manage time effectively
- A high standard of written English, as they will need to write and proof content
- Confident communicator both face-to-face and over the phone
- Experience of web content management an advantage
- Sound analytical and numeracy skills
- Good database management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines within budget and under pressure
- Excellent IT skills
