Marketing Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Working alongside the Portfolio Marketing Manager to execute all marketing communication activities to ensure deadlines are met in line with marketing objectives using email, direct mail, web and social media
• Implementing dedicated projects to improve visitor attendance
• Analysing and sharing insights based on the results of marketing activities
• Specification and management of event websites including setting up the exhibitor zone
• Updating social media channels and identification of new opportunities as well as analysing results
• Writing material for inclusion on the website and within all collateral and emails
• Working closely with suppliers including design houses, direct mail companies, printers, PR and registration companies
• Preparation of data for all campaigns including segmentation, manipulation and validation of data
• Working alongside the Portfolio Marketing Manager to ensure that Media and Association agreement deliverables are met
• Communicating with exhibitors to maximise marketing opportunities and resolve any queries they may have

• Ability to work well under pressure, with tight deadlines
• Be able to work on multiple projects at the same time
• A passion and interest for the food, drink, packaging & hospitality industries

Experience Required:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Be a confident communicator in all mediums – written, face-to-face and on the phone
• Strong IT skills – confident in Microsoft Office, email and website platforms and social media – ideally with experience using Photoshop or similar design programmes
• Experience analysing data and online platforms such as Google Analytics
• Excellent creative skills and be able to look at new and innovative ways of approaching the marketing requirements of each event
• A qualification in marketing is desired but not required
